I wear glasses everyday. I used to wear contacts but they just didn't work very well for me. So my prescription glasses will have to do...and they are great. I've gotten so used to wearing eyeglasses that I can't imagine going back to contacts. I am cheap thrifty so I don't really like to go to the big box retailer to buy glasses. I was in dire need of new glasses...mine were being held together by a twist tie so I was very excited when I was contacted by the lovely people at GlassesUSA.com and asked to review their website and products.
Let me tell you friends, you will not be disappointed by GlassesUSA. They have an easy to use website with TONS of options. They have a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They have this awesome feature on their website called the virtual mirror where you can upload a photo or take a photo of yourself with your webcam and "try on" the glasses. My daughter and I had a great time playing around with this feature. She wanted me to try on every pair because she thought it was so fun. And it was very helpful...it really helped me narrow down my options and ultimately decide on the glasses I ordered.
GlassesUSA also has a refer-a-friend program! yeah! When you refer a friend you can get $30 towards your next eyeglass purchase! So, if you're thinking of buying some glasses and would like to help me out you can use my referral link!!!
Seeing properly shouldn’t be a luxury – it should be a necessity. We do our best to help our customers and we take their vision needs very seriously by providing our customers with top quality lenses in the most fashionable frames available! -GlassesUSA
Once I picked out my glasses they came very quickly!! They came in a sturdy box with a great case and a cleaning cloth!! That will come in handy for me...I inevitably end up with little kid finger prints on my glasses a couple of times a day!
One other thing that I loved was this card that was included with my cleaning cloth. My prescription was written right on that card. I am always loosing my prescription from the drs office so I'm so glad to have it in another place...and they also included a coupon code for me as well!
Here are a couple of photos of me with my new glasses on! My friend Tracye took this first photo after she snapped a few of our family of 6 for our Christmas card! Love my new glasses...but not as much as my new baby!!!
I took this photo with my phone...it didn't turn out too horrible!
GlassesUSA offers great prices and lots of coupons as well. You can check out all the coupons right on the website. They have one right now for buy 1 get one free just use the code: "THANKS2FOR1". Such a good deal! You can also take 10% off any order with the code "Blog10"
I WILL be using GlassesUSA again in the future! I was very pleased with the customer service, the quick turn around time to get the glasses and the glasses are great too. The glasses are lightweight, fit great, and I think they look pretty good too. I hope you head over to GlassesUSA and give them a look. Go check em out while there's the great sale too!! You won't be disappointed!!
This post was sponsored by GlassesUSA.com. All opinions are my own. I was compensated with a pair of glasses but everything is my personal opinion!!
I am very excited today to share with you an exciting site that offers instant custom signs for your home. I was contacted by Andrea and asked to check out her "Customizable Family Rules Printable". I have been wanting to make one for so long now and just hadn't gotten around to it. So I was very excited to check it out! I immediately went to check it out.
Look at what I customized for my "Family Rules"
Isn't it AWESOME! I love it and it was so easy to make. Just visit the cool word builder tool HERE and start creating your own! You can add a bunch of rules that are ready to go or create your own rules! I added a couple of my own, but I loved the choices she had.
I also think you will love the different styles offered too! The one I did above is style "Kitschy" I liked the look and I also liked the black background. But there are so many other styles. 9 different styles to be specific.
Here are a couple others I made up to show you.
"Distressed Style"
"Wallpaper Style"
Aren't they cute!?! I knew you would love them! Another great thing about this tool is that if you don't exactly love the order of the rules, you can just click and drag them into the order you like. Very simple!
If you need a little help learning how to use the tool, there is a video you can watch. Click below to watch. You will be making one for yourself right away after you see how easy it is.
Another great printable they offer is the "Special Dates" printable. It works just like the Family Rules, only you can add in your special dates. You can go to their Special Dates Artwork Builder to make yours. You can choose from 3 to up to 9 dates for your sign. For mine, I choose 8. I added in mine and my husbands birth dates, the date my husband and I got together, our anniversary and each of our 4 kids birthdays. It's really simple, just pick how many dates you want, then add in the dates, click on create my date artwork, select from 5 different styles, and then choose if you want to get a PDF or have it printed. It's so simple. I changed the dates, but this is the style I went with. I love it because it has a little heart with white letters for the date we got together. So cute!
Here is another style I liked. A little simpler. I kept the same fake dates for this example. LOL

Just made these the other night and they are addicting. So addicting, they can be dangerous to a girls curves. LOL
I tripled my batch because I have a lot of munchers.
Here is what you will need for a double batch...because one is just never enough. ;)
2 bags of oyster crackers (about 10 cups)
2 packages of dry ranch mix
1 tsp of dill weed
1/2 tsp of lemon pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
First....preheat your oven to 250˚ F
Second....in a large bowl, add in ranch mix, dill weed, lemon pepper and garlic powder. Mix in vegetable oil. Then stir in your oyster crackers until all have been coated with seasonings.
Third...place on baking sheet evenly and put in your oven for 10-12 minutes. Stir the crackers. Then continue cooking for an additional 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
Enjoy with soups, salads or just for snacking. They are a hit! I think these will be a go to snack for the kiddos! A great snack for holidays too!
I love watching you grow sweet girl! Hope you had a special day!
Love Mommy and Daddy
We had Caidee's birthday at "All Fired Up" in Chico. Loved it. They got to make their own bowls, design and paint them. It was so cool! By far the best hands on party yet! We had a lot of little girls join in the fun. It was an awesome day!
Can you tell she had fun?!?
She got a lot of presents. OH MY! What sweet friends she has! The favors are the cutest lil bags I found at World Market! I went crazy and bought a few varieties of their owl bags. I have plans for them and will share soon what I do with them. ;)
Since we took a pic of her with her bear today, we thought we would share her baby and bear pic at the party too! She loved showing off her photo.
I found the frame at TJ Maxx this week. Loved it and bought it in Pink, Purple and Black. heehee
And who wouldn't love those cute cupcake cups. Found them at TJ too! She loves the confetti cake, so we made that with vanilla frosting and topped with green crystal sprinkles and a pink circus animal cookie. They were a hit and the perfect size for kiddos!
We finished off with a birthday lunch at Chili's. I asked my good friends there to please help me to trick Caidee. They brought over steamed broccoli with mayo as the topping as her birthday treat. It was hilarious. She looked a little shocked and squirmed in her seat a bit not knowing how to react. HAHA Success! (FYI...no children cried during this fun little trick lol)
Caidee and her friend posed for a fun pic after!
Just Kidding Kiddo. Here is some ice cream! LOL We love ya!
Thanks for playing along with our fun trick Caidee and Chili's too!

I love to make shirts for my kids...and just clothes in general. Having a new baby sister was a GREAT excuse for me to make some shirts for my kiddos. I thought for weeks about what kind of shirts I wanted to make for the kids. I thought about each of them having a number, doing their initials and many other things. Tara sent me a few ideas and I liked the bodyguard shirt idea that she sent me (from cafepress) and so I started turning that over in my mind because I really liked the idea. So, I made the bodyguard shirt for Micah and then I figured I could do the bigger girls as part of the fan club. To differentiate Naomi and Hannah's shirts I added in the President and Vice President. I love the idea of the shirts but the execution of the shirts its not my finest work. But the kids really liked their shirts, it was easy for me to do and they made for some good conversation starters at the hospital. So, here are the shirts I made for my kiddos!
My iron-on paper was pretty old and didn't work great...so it looks faded even though it's brand new.
I also made this for Abi right away too. I saw this photo that was on pinterest and thought it was a great idea. If I had a cricut machine I would've used freezer paper and paint to make these shirts, but since I don't and didn't feel like cutting out the letters by hand I decided to just use iron-on transfer paper.
